Located in Knob Noster, Missouri, just off Highway 50 and minutes from Whiteman Air Force Base, Base Outfitters & Range offers an upscale, family-friendly indoor shooting experience. Our state-of-the-art facility is designed to cater to shooters of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned marksmen.
Our indoor shooting range features eight meticulously maintained lanes, including five 25-yard lanes and three 50-yard lanes—making us one of the few facilities in Missouri to offer 50-yard indoor shooting. Each lane is equipped with cable-driven target carriers and an intuitive control system, allowing shooters to customize their experience. Lane 7 boasts a target rotation training carrier with 20 default training scenarios, providing dynamic and engaging practice sessions.
Safety is our top priority. Our range is staffed by certified NRA Range Safety Officers who ensure a secure environment for all patrons. Whether you’re practicing for personal defense, honing your skills, or introducing a family member to shooting, our team is here to support you every step of the way.
At Base Outfitters & Range, we welcome a diverse community of shooters, including military personnel from nearby Whiteman Air Force Base, law enforcement officers, and civilians. We allow a variety of calibers on our range, from .22 through 300 Win Mag. Shooters can use their own ammunition or purchase it here. We permit shotguns as long as 00 Buck or Slugs are used. For safety reasons, steel cased and hardened ammunition is not allowed.
Our range offers a selection of firearm rentals, including pistols, rifles, and, in the near future, fully automatic firearms. Each rental is accompanied by a Range Safety Officer to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Please note that shooters must be 18 years or older to rent firearms.
